Brendan Murphy

Brendan Murphy is a London based actor, improviser and comedian.

He is the co-creator of 'NonCensored', a weekly satirical comedy podcast, and plays co-host Producer Martin alongside comedian Rosie Holt & regular contributor Eshaan Akbar. The podcast was nominated for The Comedy Award at the Audio and Radio Industry Awards (formerly the Sony Awards) in 2023.

His voice can be heard in 'Doctor Who' (BBC / Big Finish), the critically acclaimed audiobook 'The Land Of Sometimes', and the video games 'Total War: Warhammer and Elite: Dangerous'.

He can also be heard introducing cartoons on Cartoon Network & Boomerang TV, as well as voicing commercials for a variety of global brands.

An experienced improviser, Brendan is a member of BBC Radio One's 'BattleActs!' (available on BBC Sounds) and a guest player for Second City and Monkey Toast Players. He has taught improv to students at his alma mater Arts Ed London and The Orange Tree Theatre.

His solo parody shows, 'FRIEND' (The One With Gunther) and 'Buffy ReVamped', have won Best Play at the Worldwide Comedy Awards and Best One-Person Show & Best Comedy Performance at the DarkChat Awards respectively.

Regularly performing in the Olivier Award-nominated 'Potted Potter', Brendan has toured extensively across the US and Canada including a residency at Bally's, Las Vegas, which won Best New Show in the Best Of Las Vegas Awards.
