Janice Vee is a British Asian, London based voice-over artist, radio presenter and DJ.
Her heritage is Indian and Mauritian, but she was 'made' in London.
She has had a wide and varied career in the media. Starting out at Kiss 100 FM presenting the Drivetime show ‘Full Frontal’ as well as presenting and producing the infamous magazine show called 'The Word' where she championed new and emerging artists. She produced and presented many shows on Kiss including the David Rodigan show, the Breakfast show, as well as presenting on Kiss TV for ‘The Guardian’ magazine called 'The Guide'. She has been a contributor on BBC London with her 'Underground London' guide.
Janice has presented shows on BBC Asian Network, LBC, Ministry of Sound Radio and is currently the co-presenter with Lorraine Ashdown on Mi-Afternoons on Mi-Soul radio.
She has championed many female issues, especially highlighting the taboo subject of the Menopause and was part of the 'Nomadic Films' series talking about the subject to challenge preconceptions about age, the workplace and society's role in how we look at women's issues, along with her friend and co-campaigner Meg Mathews. She was invited to be the main speaker for Virgin Media Group and 'The Virgin Way: Belongings Sessions' to talk about the importance of women in the workplace and how to deal with 'positive age diversity'.
She is currently the voice of the Vodafone Network, BBC Regional Stations, BBC Radio 5 Live and ITV 'This Morning', 'Good Morning Britain' and 'Loose Women'.
Janice's voice ranges from high energy promos to London-Girl-Next-Door to Super Sexy album ads, as well as narrating numerous audio books for Penguin Random House.
